In Japanese, every sentence consists of :

• subject: the “doer (of an action)” or “manifester of a quality”
• predicate: statement about what the “doer does” or the “manifester manifests”

Note, that the subject (+ Particle ∅) may be left out in sentences due to being apparent from context. However, it is still “there”.
