= a 3️⃣ Triad note chord, extended with the seventh note of the 🎹 Note Scale

Types §

• Major (major chord + 7th)
• Dominant (chord + b 7th)
  • -> unstable, tension -> resolve 5th below
• Minor 7th (minor chord + 7th)
• Minor 7th b5 / half diminished (Minor 7th, b5)
• Diminished (steps of minor 3rds from root)
