Definition

An argument has high epistemic legibility, when the following criteria are met:

  • Truth: True / False
  • Legibility: High / Low

Legibility

Legible arguments are:

  • Comparatively easy to understand
  • Clearly formulated, explicit
  • Based on evidence
  • Logically structured
  • Exemplified
  • Tailored to an audience
