✍️ Bonferroni-correction
= a way to avoid high 1️⃣ Type 1 error rates caused by too many hypothesis tests
How?
- Divide the 𝜶 Significance level by the number of tests
- Apply that 𝜶 Significance level to each individual test
📖 Example:
- e.g., if your overall alpha level is 0.05 and you are running 10 tests, then each test will have an alpha level of 0.05/10 = 0.005
