Order and Chaos Story — Axioms and Moral Dilemmas (2026-05-17, 13:36)

Five minutes after Order and Chaos Story - Bottom-Up from Axioms, the process sharpens into three steps: (1) collect axioms (sample: order is only local; intelligence catalyses entropy), (2) trace interplays, (3) derive moral dilemmas (e.g. rich societies = local order requiring chaos elsewhere → “why can’t we have peace everywhere?”). Bridges the abstract physics axioms to human narrative territory by way of moral dilemmas (morality being a human construct).

Well, and given these thoughts about this order and chaos story, I think if I were to make a story out of it, I would have to first of all collect axioms that I find interesting. Like, for example, intelligence being a catalysator for entropy increasing, which is basically the phenomenon we discovered before of, like, a cat being in the process of reducing e— trying to redu— be… Well, the ground axiom is that order is only local, and when order increases locally, somewhere else in the system chaos increases, and the net result is not equal, but it is an increase in chaos. And well, for example, one dilemma could be that societies are basically order, but for a society to exist, which is a local form of order, it has to increase chaos somewhere else. And that’s maybe something you could see, like, with rich countries having a lot of order and a nice time, but then somewhere else on Earth, chaos coming up and people are like, “Why can’t we have ca— order everywhere on Earth?” Which would translate to, “Why can’t we have peace and nice time everywhere on Earth?” Maybe that is just grounded in the truth that order is local, and for order to exist somewhere else, co-chaos has to increase. So these kinds of dilemmata that would come up from these axioms would be the next step in the process of creating that story, essentially. But well, first of all, axioms would have to be collected, and then also some interplays between them maybe. And then from that, we can go to the next stage of defining moral dilemmata that are interesting for humans at least, because morals, morality is something that’s h-human. And well, come up with ideas for that there and universes.
