AI Training Data Hunt — Smart Humans Generating Training Data (2026-05-17, 09:41)
Sci-fi premise — a near-future where humans sit at computers generating training data for AI, and as models get smarter, the bar for which humans qualify keeps rising, so recruiters hunt for high-IQ individuals in rural areas (since IQ can’t be cultivated like a crop). Sibling to the same day’s chaos story-axiom thread — both are axiom → story sketches dropped within ~4 hours of each other.
I think it would be kind of interesting to have a movie or, well, story set in a scene where basically people are just getting used to generate information to train AI models. So they sit in front of a computer and generate training data with their brains, and as the models get smarter progressively, then you will need smarter and smarter humans, and so they will go, go out to look for smart peoples with a high IQ in, like, the most rural areas because, like, IQ is not easily findable or, well, can’t be grown like a plant.
